The NSRP is a DFID sponsored project scheduled to run for five years (2012-2017) in eight states in Nigeria (North and South). It aims to reduce the impact of violent conflict on vulnerable people in the targeted states. The programme’s most immediate impact will be in 24 local government areas with a total population of about five million.

CPPA is a member of a consortium responsible for conducting an evaluation of NSRP that will run in parallel to the programme itself. The consortium will explore the quality and ultimate impact of the programme. This includes testing and helping to refine the programme’s overall “Theory of Change” (ToC). The consortium will subsequently focus on one of NSRP’s individual interventions, conducting an in-depth evaluation and impact assessment from which extrapolations can be made.
