The Centre for Public Policy Alternatives, supported by a VakaYiko grant, recently completed a project aimed at improving the use of evidence public service delivery at the local government level in Nigeria. A key objective of the Improving Information Literacy for Urban Service Planning and Delivery (INFO_LIT) Project was to facilitate an understanding of the significance of data among urban planners, and deepen evidence-based policy making at the local government level in Nigeria.
